The DE-28/4 is the only desktop folder with 4 fold plates. This allows the machine to make all of the folds a regular machine can make plus many more. See the chart below. Folds 7 through 16 are made using 4 plates. It was designed for the pharmaceutical industry, but can be used by companies that need to fold paper very small to fit into a small box. Folds can be as small as 1", with all folds performed in the same direction. It cannot fold from the side. It is a well-made, solid performer. This machine folds with precision. The machine automatically stops when the run is finished or a jam occurs.
