The Martin Yale 1701 AutoFolderª features electronic setup. You first select a paper size, letter, legal or A4, and then one of the 5 folds from the panel. The machine then sets the stops for you.
The hopper of the Martin Yale 1701 holds up to 150 sheets, or you can feed up to 5 sheets of 20 lb. bond weight paper at a time together manually, even with staples. It can handle up to legal size paper in 5 different folds. It is small, weighs 39 lbs. and is easy to set up and use.
PLEASE NOTE: It is NOT SUITABLE for COATED OR PHOTO PAPER and it CANNOT perform a letter (tri) fold on legal size paper. Call for details.)
To begin, you select your fold. Place up to 150 sheets of paper in the hopper of the 1701, turn it on and press the start button. The sheets will be folded in a few minutes and neatly stacked by the conveyor below. It will automatically shut off when done. If a jam is detected, it shuts off, making the clearing process much easier. It will handle paper weights from 16 lb bond to 70 lb index.
