The Martin Yale 959 is available as a regular friction feed (959) and as an air feed model (959AF). It is a heavy duty machine that is rated by the manufacturer to process up to 25,000 sheets of paper per week from 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" to 14" x 20" in size. The hopper holds up to 250 sheets.
The Martin Yale 959AF Air-Feed Folder can be set to perform 6 different folds It is large, weighs 220 lbs. and is easy to set up and use. To begin, you set the type of fold by moving the 2 knobs that set the fold stops on the front and back removable plates. For letter, legal size and 11 x 17 paper, the stops are marked for the 6 types of folds.
For automatic operation, you place up to 250 sheets of paper in the hopper of the 959AF, turn it on and press the start button. You can adjust the speed. It is a bottom feed machine, so you can continually add sheets to the hopper for extended operation. The sheets will be folded and neatly stacked by the conveyor below. Folding plates are removeable for cleaning and clearing any jams.
