The Destroyit Model 2404 is available in 3 levels of security: P2 as a strip cut model, and P4 and P5 as Cross cut models. This hardworking but quiet shredder has a 3/4 horsepower, single phase motor, and several environmentally friendly features. The reusable shredder bag mean it does not require disposable shred bags. The zero energy consumption sleep mode cuts off the power supply after 30 minutes of inactivity. Automatic start and stop are controlled by a photo cell. The wooden cabinet is mounted on castors so it moves to where you need it. The hardened steep high quality cutting shaft takes staples, paper clips, credit cards, and the strip cut model can handle CDs and DVDs.
The Strip cut model is Security level P2, 4mm strips (3/16") with 19-22 sheet shred capacity.
The Cross cut model Security level P4 has 4 x 40mm shred (3/16" x 1-1/2") with 13-15 sheet shred capacity.
The Cross cut model Security Level P5 has 2 x 15mm shred (3/32" x 5/8") with 9-11 sheet shred capacity.
