The Martin Yale 1811 large format folding machine is a quiet machine due to the fully enclosed fold plates. The Martin Yale 1811 accepts paper weights from 16-lb. bond to 135 # offset WITHOUT having to adjust feed system, saving time between fold jobs. It will also handle semi-glossy stock, but not photo-glossy.
The 1811 has a reverse switch for quick jam clearing and auto shut-off when it runs out of paper. Its variable speed ranges from 5,000 to 12,000 sheets per hour. Handles sheet sizes from 2.5" x 5.2" to 12" x 17". The large feed tray holds up to 300 sheets of 20-lb. bond.
The Martin Yale 1811 performs seven different fold types, including letter, z-fold, half, double-parallel, gate, engineering (AKA short z-fold) and church fold. It can perform a cross fold (fold in half and then run through again from the side), but the second fold must be hand fed. It does not have a manual feed for multiple sheets.
