The Martin Yale 1611 folding machine is greatly improved. It is an easy to use machine as well! It has a better feed system, easy access to rollers, stacking wheels and self centering paper guides. It has a 150 sheet hopper, or you can manually feed up to 5 sheets of 20 lb. bond weight paper together, even with staples. It can handle up to legal size paper in 5 different folds.
The Martin Yale 1611 Automatic Paper Folder is small, weighs 40 lbs. and is very easy to set up and use. The 1611 has conveyor output, auto jam detection and shut off; which is unusual for folders in this price range.
It can handle paper weights from 16 lb bond to 70 lb index. PLEASE NOTE: It is NOT SUITABLE for COATED OR PHOTO PAPER.
To begin, you set the type of fold you want by moving the 2 knobs that set the fold stops on the front and back removable plates according to the guide. Place up to 150 sheets of paper in the Martin Yale 1611 hopper, and press the start button. The sheets will be folded in a few minutes and neatly stacked by the conveyor. This unit operates at 9,000 sheets per hour.
