The Formax ATLAS-AS Air-Feed Document Folder, like the ATLAS, combines high volume output with a small footprint, making this the perfect folding solution for Print Shops. The ATLAS-AS features a 7" color TouchScreen control panel to allow you to easily program an unlimited number of jobs into the memory and make adjustments quickly. It can process up to 27,000 sheets per hour. Variable speed control, and six standard folds are pre-set in letter, legal, and ledger sizes. Fully enclosed fold plates for sound reduction. The fold rollers are durable composite material designed to grip high-gloss paper and are housed in a pull out cassette.
The powerful air suction feed table handles a wide variety of coated and glossy stocks up to 25.5" in length, and aligns sheets prior to folding. The suction chamber controls curled or statically charged paper.
Includes a modular perforator/scorer which can also be used as a roller bypass to allow cover stock to be folded and output flat. Output stacker is located on the same side as the infeed, allowing operators to use the Atlas from a single postition. Also includes double document detection, batch counting, anti-static brushes, skew and micro adjustments.
