The FD282 Double-Head Tabber can apply tabs on opposite sides of the mailpiece at the same time, or on top and side simultaneously, eliminating the need to feed the piece through multiple times. The FD282's combination of tabbing heads makes this possible. The fixed head applies tabs along an open edge, and the repositionable head can switch from side tabbing to front (leading-edge) tabbing. This flexible head can also apply flat tabs, small labels, and up to 3 USPS roll stamps in one pass.
The control panel (digital LCD display) includes lifetime and job resettable counters. Setup and operation is user friendly and operators can program up to 4 jobs into memory. The FD282 processes up to 25,000 single tabs per hour, 15,000 double tabs per hour, and 10,000 triple tabs per hour, in sizes up to 11" x 15", and 1/4" thick.
The FD282 is available as a stand-alone unit, ready to use with a variety of feeders and output devices. Or get the FD282SF with a medium-duty synchronized feeder, or the FD282HF with a heavy-duty friction feeder. Other options include an output conveyor, tabletop and floor stands.
